Rosemarie Antionette (Brasili) LeClair, 86, of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025, surrounded by love.
Born on June 14, 1939, in Fitchburg, to Giuseppe and Jenny (Botch) Brasili, Rosemarie was a lifelong resident of the city she loved. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and adoring great-grandmother whose life was rooted in family, faith, and kindness.
She is survived by her husband, Pete LeClair, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and laughter. Together, they built a family that was the center of Rosemarie’s world.
She leaves behind her sons, Michael LeClair and Eddie LeClair; her beloved grandchildren, Kaitlyn Ciccone and her husband Scott, and Amanda Amoroso and her husband Derek. Rosemarie’s heart was fullest when surrounded by her great-grandchildren: Maddie and Jonny Amoroso, Connor Ciccone, and New Baby Ciccone.
She also leaves her nephews Kenny Brasili and his sons William and Luca, and Derek and Trina Brasili and their sons Vince and Nico; her cousin Armando Botch; and her special little friend Aiden Vautour, as well as many dear friends who will remember her warm heart, gentle wisdom, and gracious presence.
Rosemarie was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Angelo Brasili.
Rosemarie’s love of cooking for and traveling with her family brought her immense joy throughout her life. Her home was always open, her advice always honest, and her love unconditional. She had a quick wit, a generous spirit, and a quiet strength that guided her through life with grace.
Her passing leaves a deep void, but her legacy of love, resilience, and family will live on in all who were lucky enough to know her.
A private family service will be held to honor Rosemarie’s life, with a celebration of her memory to follow. There are no calling hours
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Rosemarie’s name to a charity close to your heart or simply perform an act of kindness in her memory.
