                Fitchburg: Salena Nicole Boulanger,34, of Fitchburg, MA was born March 11,1989. Salena passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and loved ones on March 15,2023. Salena and her sister Melissa Boulanger were placed into the caring , loving  home of Lisa Boulanger and in 1995 Lisa adopted these two beautiful young girls, and took on the responsibility of being their mother.

Salena attended and graduated from Oakmont Regional High School in 2008

In her spare time Salena liked to play cards and board games. She enjoyed puzzles, dancing and music. She also loved taking pictures an d making memories with her family and friends.

Salena was a loving, caring , spontaneous outgoing woman, who had the biggest heart. Salena cared about everyone and always tried to help someone in need when she could, even if it meant sacrificing her own needs. Salena was a very outspoken but gentle soul. She had many struggles and was faced with many road blocks  but through it all, she was always there for her friends who were also going through similar struggles. Salena always wanted a better life for herself and was trying to overcome theses struggles when she was taken away from complications of these hard times. She is loved and will be missed by so many.

She leaves behind her mother Lisa Boulanger, her grandparents, Joseph and Iantha Boulanger, her two children Amara and Joshua and their adopted mother, Emily who Salena created a special bond with. She also leaves the father of her children, Lennell York  who always was there for Salena no matter what she may have been going through. She also leaves behind these special people, Melissa Boulanger (her sister), Richard Giarrantano, Travis Teague, Alisha LaDue, Corey LaDue , Dina Jones, Loreno Jones, and Walter Jones. She also leaves behind many more brothers and sisters, aunts , uncles , nieces, nephews, and cousins along with her biological mother Georgianna Peavy.

A Funeral service for Salena will be held this coming Saturday, March 25,2023 @ 11a.m. at the funeral home. There are no calling hours.
