Sharon D. Leblanc
It is with sad and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon D. Leblanc, of Westminster, MA. She died peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2026, surrounded by her four beloved children.
Sharon was born on July 27, 1946, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and later raised in Clinton, MA., where she attended local schools and formed many lifelong friendships and memories. Above all else, Sharon was a devoted mother who dedicated much of her life to raising her four children with love, strength, and compassion. Later in life, she became the Assistant Manager of her husband’s family business, Westminster Country Club, where she was respected for her hard work, kindness, and welcoming nature.
Sharon was known as a helpful, kind, and friendly woman who accepted people for who they were and treated everyone with warmth and respect. She carried herself with courage, loyalty, humility, and quiet strength throughout her life. Her caring heart and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Sharon found joy in life’s simple pleasures and treasured experiences. She loved spending countless hours reading books from her local library and looked forward each winter to traveling to Daytona Beach Shores. She also enjoyed visits to Hampton Beach, trips to Seabrook Greyhound Park, and time spent at Foxwoods Resort Casino.
Sharon is survived by her four children: Laurie (James) Xarras of Lunenburg; Robert (Sherri) Leblanc of Westminster; Thomas Leblanc and his partner, Kim McKay, of Gardner; and Michael (Kelly) Leblanc of Westminster. She also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren, Alex Xarras, Alyssa Xarras Briggs, Michael Xarras, David Leblanc, Joseph Leblanc, and Ashley Leblanc; as well as nine beloved great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Hannah, Olivia, Logan, Jackson, Charlie, Davis, Weston, and Ellie.
Sharon was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert A. Leblanc; her parents, Joseph and Teresa Quill; her sister, Theresa McLaughlin; and her brothers, Joseph Quill and James Quill.
A Funeral Mass to celebrate Sharon’s life will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 10 Church Street, Westminster, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sharon’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. There are no calling hours.
