Sherry Clark Obituary

Sherry Lee (Ouellette) Clark left this world early on the morning of November 18, 2021 after a brief hospitalization at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, MA. Sherry was born on August 26th, 1959 in Shirley, MA. She graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1977 and studied at St. Vincent’s Hospital School of Nursing.  She married David Clark on September 2, 1983 and they had three daughters. She spent most of her career working as a front desk receptionist and medical billing specialist.

This vivacious woman was the rock of our family. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend but was most proud of being a Nana. She was happiest spending time at the beach, spoiling her grandchildren, or going to dinner with her best friends, Steve and Sharon McCluskey. She was a talented painter, had a keen eye for fashion, and routinely tackled DIY projects.

Loved by all, Sherry’s personality sparkled. She was warm, kind, and always went above and beyond for the ones she cared for.

Sherry’s family would like to thank the 2 Lakeside ICU team at UMass Medical Center in Worcester and New England Donor Services for the tremendous care shown to us all.

Sherry’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family as we do our best to make her and Dad proud. She will be missed beyond measure.

Sherry is survived by her parents, Jack and Barbara Ouellette, her siblings, Brenda Bangrazi, Gary Ouellette, and Pamela Sumner, her daughters, Kaitlyn Mitchell, Courtney Clark, and Kimberly Clark, her sons-in-law, Glenn Mitchell, and Derek Vallee, her grandchildren, Hannah, Quinn, Maggie, and Beckett, and her beloved Yorkie, Marmaduke. She is predeceased by her loving husband, David Clark.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, December 11th, 2021 from 10am - 12pm at Lavery Chartrand Alario Funeral Home 99 Summer St. Fitchburg, MA and all are welcome to attend. A mask is suggested but not mandatory.
