Leominster :  Therese R. Lomme (Simard) 94 of Leominster,MA passed away peacefully ,Thursday, July 22,2021 in UMass Health Alliance Leominster with her family at her side.

She was born in Fitchburg, MA, November 2, 1926 and was the daughter of Joseph and Bertha (Chouinard) Simard and was raised in Fitchburg. She had lived in Leominster since 1959. Therese worked at the former W.T. Grant and Woolworths for a total of 29 years and she retired in 1990.

Therese enjoyed ball room and line dancing with her late husband Victor. She was a member of St. Leo’s Church in Leominster, MA  .

She is survived by her sons, James V. Lomme and wife Lois of Tolland , CT , and Gary D. Lomme  and his wife Elisa of Tallahassee, Florida, her sister Marian Webster in Woodland Hils, CA, two grandchildren, Ryan and Sarehl  Lomme ,two great grandchildren, Caleb and Victor Lomme along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Victor A.  Lomme in 2012 , her son Richard R. Lomme  in 2013 ,a brother Roland Simard and her sisters Rita Leonard, Lillian Lawrence, Stella Courtemanche, and Lucille Rivers.

A Funeral Mass for Therese will be held on Thursday, August 5,2021 @ 10a.m. in St. Leo’s Church, 128 Main St. Leominster, MA . Inurnment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Fitchburg, MA . All friends and relatives are welcome to attend. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers,  please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
