                                             OBITUARY  NOTICE

Fitchburg:  Tina M. (Alario) DeMar, 67 of Fitchburg, MA passed away peacefully Thursday, December 3,2020 in Health Alliance Leominster, after a courageous 33 day battle with Covid – 19, that was fought with the loving support of staff from the CCU team .

Tina was born in Fitchburg , MA December 21, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Anthony R. Alario and Vitina M.( Romano ) Alario. She lived in Fitchburg all of her life and was a graduate of Fitchburg High School Class of 1970.

Tina went on to become a registered nurse and was a graduate of Mt. Wachusett Communnity College and then received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fitchburg State University. She worked at the Health Alliance Leominster Hospital in the emergency room and in the critical care unit for forty –two years and retired in 2018. She worked tirelessly and was very dedicated to her profession. She will be dearly missed by all of her co -workers and friends at Leominster Hospital.

Tina loved to be surrounded with her family. She especially loved her trips to the beach in both summer, and winter. Tina will be remembered as our purple angel.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, David W. DeMar, her children, Tina M. Williams and husband Dennis of Fitchburg, MA, Toni M. DeMar of Fitchburg, MA, and David W. DeMar Jr. and wife Amanda of Ashburnham, MA, grandchildren Gianna, Isabella, Dennis, Gabriella, Caprice, David III, Dean and Dominic, her brother Ralph C. Alario and wife Gail of Mesquite, Nevada her sister Sherry J. LeClair of Fitchburg, MA. and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Anthony R. Alario and Peter F. Alario.

A private family service for Tina is being held at the funeral home. There are no calling hours. A Memorial service for all who wish to attend will be held at a later date to be announced.
