Fitchburg: Victor S. Dupuis, 65 of Fitchburg, MA passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 14,2021 in U Mass Memorial Hospital – Leominster,MA after an inspirational courageous fight with cancer.
Victor was born on January 28, 1956 in Fitchburg, MA, the son of the late Raymond and Lucille (Couture) Dupuis. He was raised in Fitchburg and was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and the University of Lowell.
Victor was an award winning consummate artist whose paintings have been showcased many times at the Fitchburg Art Museum, the Leominster Art Association and many local galleries including the Boulder Art Gallery in downtown Fitchburg. He was also heavily involved for most of his life in acting, directing and set designing theatrical plays, musicals and readings throughout the Boston and surrounding areas including of course the local Stratton Theatre in Fitchburg. Wherever he participated, he cultivated eternal loving friendships with all.
For many years, Victor worked at Bakers Plays in downtown Boston and the Foothills Theatre in Worcester. He has been very happily employed for the last several years as a case manager at the Arc of Opportunity in Fitchburg where he found great fulfillment in giving back joy and assistance to all of his clients.
What will be missed most by all who knew and loved Victor was his ability to find and create laughter in every situation of every minute of every day of his life. We will always love you my friend. Rest in Peace.
He is survived by his sister Christine Dupuis, niece Karen, nephew AJ, cousin Marilyn Dufort and many other cousins and a multitude of loving friends.
Funeral services for Victor will be held on Wednesday, September 22,2021 with calling hours at the funeral home from 11a.m. until 1p.m. followed by a prayer service. Inurnment will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery. All friends and relatives are welcome to attend.
